Chocolate Macaroons

recipe from Fleetwood Acres

1/2 cup of milk
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
mix all ingredients and bring to a boil

3 cups of rolled oats
1 cup of coconut
4 tablespoons coco
1/2 teaspoon salt
mix together and scoop into cookies.

Preheat the oven at 200°C then put the macaroon in and turn the temperature down to 140°C and cook for 23 minutes. (Fan forced oven – 250 degrees and then turn down to 140 degrees, for regular oven – 200 degrees and then 140 degrees)
