About the Milton Farmers’ Market
The Milton Farmers’ Market, operated by the Milton Chamber of Commerce, brings farm-fresh goodness and old-fashioned hospitality to Main Street in downtown Milton. On Saturday mornings, Main Street (between James Street and Martin Street) is closed down and reserved for our 40 plus market vendors and the 1000 – 1500 market visitors who shop at the market every week.
Come stroll and visit the many farmers, vendors, florists and artisans from the Milton area. Bring your shopping list to choose from…
◦ fresh-picked fruits and vegetables including organically-grown
◦ preserves, jams, honey and apple cider
◦ breads and baked goods
◦ flowers and plants
◦ meats and cheeses
◦ ethnic and specialty foods
◦ crafts and pottery
While at the market you can also enjoy some sizzling back bacon on a bun and a cold drink or a hot coffee at the Chamber’s Scholarship Café where your purchase contributes to six $1000 scholarships that are awarded to local high school students every year. In fact, we sell, on average, more than 400 bacon-on-a-bun sandwiches every market!
Add to all this, the special events being promoted by local not-for-profit organizations, the local musicians and artists who set up at the market and, of course, the many Downtown shops that open early for Market days…and you have a great shopping experience for the whole family!
